Larry and his family lived on the same street in Redlands for approximately 7 years and became good friends! He was one of the warmest, happy and intelligent men I’ve ever known. Although, I realize this acknowledgment is way too late, I hope his family knows how much we loved and appreciated Larry and Linda on Fifthave, Redlands, CA. He was an outstanding man and friend … so sorry he’s gone before I was able to tell him!!!

My condolences to the family, I have many fond memories of the Gilliam family including Larry helping me time the engine of my 70 mach 1 when I was in high school. Visiting when the family lived in Gilroy and getting to see Larry on stage playing, music being a shared hobby....you will be missed sir

Larry stopped by my office several times before he retired from LM. I was a salary grade 3 and he a VP. He would deliver a one-liner and then leave. We chatted once about an experience he had at the Academy that was a parallel to my college experience. It reinforced loyalty. I respect him and wish I could have known him better.

Larry and I moved in next door to each other on the same week-end in 1980. Our families were neighbors for 16 years, sharing both happy times, and times of trouble. During that time we became Country Comfort “groupies”, hanging out at the Longhouse and other local events they played. There were also a few late night after parties. We are saddened to hear of Larry’s passing, but at the same time joyful in his reunion with Linda. May his family find peace, and rejoice in their memories. Steve and Debbie Andrade.
