Obituary of Martha G. Crum

Martha Grace Bedell Crum passed away on August 2, 2016, at the age of 72 years. Martha was born to O.J. Bedell and Grace Graham Bedell on July 24, 1944, at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. A lifelong resident of Hollister, Martha was a dedicated employee of the San Benito County Clerk's office and then the San Benito County Superior Court until her retirement in 2010. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Crum; grandchildren Jessica Espinoza, Marissa Luna, George Luna, Savanna Escamilla, and Joel Escamilla; and 9 great-grandchildren; her brother John Bedell; her sister-in-law Kaye Bedell and her nephews Matthew Bedell and Jeffrey Bedell. She was preceded in death by her nephew Patrick Bedell. She was loved and will be missed by many. A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at St. Benedict Church on Friday, August 12, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery will follow. Donations are preferred to the Fishes & Loaves Food Bank of Sacred Heart & St. Benedict Parish.
