My sincere condolences going out to Martha's family. I just returned from being out of town couple days ago and read about her passing. I am in complete shock and so saddened from the news. I am a former San Benito County employee who just retired in 2012. I've known Martha for many years as I used to file paperwork at the courthouse. She was a beautiful lady and always pleasant and fun to talk to. And we used to see each other out and about here in Hollister and would always stop and chat and laugh about so many things. May GOD comfort her family at this very very sad time.

Tom and I were so saddened to hear the news of Martha's tragic death. She was always such a sweet, happy person to everyone she came in contact with. John, I am still in the state of shock about the passing of Martha. I have been so fortunate to have been included in several dinners with Martha's classmates including my,sister, Jane. I had the pleasure of working with Martha at SBC. She always had a smile on her face. Thank you for posting the picture of Martha and her grandson George. He was on our football team and Martha was ALWAYS there to support him and our team.

Martha was one of the sweetest ladies you could ever meet. She always had a smile and sparkle in her eyes.
I worked with Martha many years at SBC and enjoyed her cheering on our team when her grandson George played on our football team.

My deepest condolences to Martha especially her grandchildren who I saw her with often. I knew Martha when she worked with the courts as I worked and still work for the county. Even after she retired she would always take time out to say Hi and see how I was doing. I even got to see her at the convalescent home where her father was living as my grandmother was also living there also. Such a sweet person, always had a smile and just would brighten anyones day. Where are you, my forever, beautiful friend? God only knows how much I miss you! I was fortunate to have you as my best friend of 72 years. I was shocked and saddened by the passing of a wonderful ,friendly, personable women.
I had the good fortune to work with Martha at the san benito courthouse. one year we had gotton each others names for xmas exchange gifts, I still have the tee shirt that has beautiful sunflowers on it with the saying "happiness is shared in simple ways:.
