Obituary of Toni Lee Fortino
A native of Hollister, age 67 years. Beloved daughter of the late Chester and Angeline Fortino; sister of the late Gino Fortino.
Toni Lee was born developmentally disabled, but with the biggest giving heart a person can have. As Toni grew into an adult, it didn't prevent her from riding the merry-go-round at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, or play Parcheesi. Listening to her 45 records was a favorite pastime to with her nephews and nieces who were very special to her. She reveled in all of their achievements; such as birthdays, getting driving licenses, weddings and especially their children. Her memory was fantastic in recalling names and dates. To capture Toni Lee's charm is difficult to put into words. Unconditional love for family and friends was paramount in her life.
Toni is survived by brother, Philip Fortino; sisters-in-law, Vicki and Phyllis Fortino; cousins, Ginger and Joe Guerra, Geri and Bill Wilson, Francis Flores (Late Genie); Teresa and Ken Scherpinski, and nieces and nephews
