Obituary of Kirk Anthony Tognazzini

Kirk Tognazzini passed away Monday June 20, 2016. He was 68. As a native of Hollister he was well known in the community. He attended Sacred Heart School and San Benito High. He worked at a local cannery and had a landscape service. He was an avid Giants and 49ers fan. He was a dedicated community member, always participating in the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for those in need. He also volunteered at Hazel Hawkins and the food bank and a life-long worker at the annual Portuguese celebration. He was brother to Mark Tognazzini. He was survived by four nephews, Matthew and Christopher Tognazzini; Todd and Eric Bengtson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Jane Tognazzini; his brother, Eric, his sisters Leilani and Dorothy Bengtson, and his niece Melissa Besseling A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church.
