Kirk was a real gentleman, he always gave the extra mile to say hello. We always talked about California sports and Boston sports, i am from Boston originally. Kirk and Eric were two of the most nicest guys I ever met. My condolences to the family, truly a sad loss.

Kirk was someone I saw every day where I work. He knew I was involved in theatre and loved music, especially concerts. Every Thursday for the last year and a half, after he read the paper, he would bring me the Arts section of the San Jose Mercury in my kitchen. He was one of the very few who were allowed... and last week was the first time we missed it. My deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the community he was such a part of. He will be missed.
