We will miss his smile and cheery way. He was always asking about our grandson and how football was going for him. He was such a neat guy. So caring.

Great and generous man. I once thanked him for his care towards my (step son) mother (his wife), after observing him get up from his chair and walk across the room only to return with a blanket to cover her and then sit down again. As simple as that seems, to me, it showed that he certainly thought of others. Strong but meek, firm and yet discreet. He is and will always be an example of a fine American who demonstrated the opportunity that the liberty passed down to him can bring in our nation. I appreciate his service and, hopefully, it was not in vain as those liberties are exploited. He's a fine example! I'll miss him. May God in Christ grant him entry into the world with end.

The Valcazar family sends their heartfelt condolences. Reading Joe’s bio, his military service and love for his country jumped off the page. Patriotism is so important and knowing that Joe “Flew the Flag” of patriotism is so honorable. Thank you Joe, for your service, your love for your country, your obvious love for your wife Barbara, and the love for all your family and friends.
