Obituary of Ivan Wesley Brink

Ivan Wesley Brink relocated to Heaven on June 8, 2019.  He was born in Santa Clara, California on January 24, 1976 to Larry and Jo Lynn Brink.  He lived in Los Gatos his first 9 years attending Los Gatos Christian School until the family moved to Hollister in 1985.  There he attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Palma High School.  He studied Neuro-biology physiology at UC Davis; then transferred to SJSU, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in Biology. Ivan maintained honor status throughout his entire education.  He worked as a lab technician in the wine industry for over 10 years.  Ivan enjoyed spending his time out in nature, especially taking visits to the ocean.  He was a very gifted writer, poet and painter.  He will be remembered for his kind soul, loving heart, as well as his deep spirituality and strong Catholic faith.  He is survived by his parents and his brother, Ryan Brink, and a large, loving extended family.  Ivan will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all the lives he has touched. 
 

In lieu of flowers, Ivan can be honored with a donation to Pets Friends or Loaves & Fishes, both in Hollister, the town he loved. 

Celebration of Ivan's Life will begin at 11am on Wednesday June 19, 2019 at St Benedict Catholic Church.  Hawaiian attire preferred.
