Your father was a dear friend. My husband and I send our condolences to all your family. We had more laughs at Disneyland North than anyone was entitled to. He will always be one of my two favorite bank managers. It was an honor to work with and for him.

I was a classmate of Bill's at Cody High School. We stayd in touch by email. When the emails stopped, I checked the internet and found this obituary. I send condolences to his family. Bill always stayed in touch with his Cody friends. Those of us who are still here will surely miss him.

I would see Bill at church and would enjoy visiting with him. He was such a friendly and gentle man. On pancake breakfast Sundays I could count on his smile and giving Pat a bad time as he paid for his meal. Later, I would join him as he would still be eating when most people were finished. I never figured out if he was just slow or was too busy talking with everyone. At any rate, he was always gracious and let me sit with him. I enjoyed our times together.

It was my privilege to have know and worked with Bill at Bank of America. I learned and appreciated sharing thoughts with Bill as Branch Managers during that time. He was well respected, who not only believed in his staff but also touched the lives of many customers during the greatest time of Bank of America history. Today. Managers could learn from him and the Bank's history. Thanks Bill for the memories.

We will never forget Bill's enthusiastic smile and warm hugs. He was always so excited to see us when we were in town, and have fond memories of seeing him every year at the Crab Cioppino at the Portuguese Hall. Bill was a great friend to Joe & Lucy Gomes, and we are so blessed to have known such a wonderful man. What an incredible life he lived, and he spread so much joy to the world.

I remember so well how he was so proud of sharing a birthday with our Lord. He would always say with a big smile He and Jesus were born on the same day. He is truly a special man and his life and family as great examples of all his love.

Bill was my cousin. I was close to him as a young pre - teen. Bill and Carol were so wonderful to me when my mother died. He was a warm loving man with a special way of making people feel valued and important. He will be missed.

My thoughts are with Bill's family. I loved working with him at San Benito Bank, he always made us laugh.
I remember he would correct everyone by saying it's MACfarlane not MCfarlane...I always smile when I think of Bill. He & Carol were special people.

My wife, Jackie and I, met Bill through church and the Elks. He always treated both of us like life long friends. He was such a great friend, family man and person.
A few years ago I was fortunate to do a genealogy search on his family. I presented Bill with a book with all the family records I could locate. I know he was great full for the information I gathered and he looked forward to paas9ng this information down to his sons.
My wife and I were fortunate to know Bill and to call him our friend. We know he is looking down, with his loving wife, at his family and many friends.
