Our condolences go out to Delbert's family. We enjoyed meeting him and being with him at several Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association shows at the beautiful Tres Pinos County Historical Park. He was very proud of the park and rightly so. He was a great man and will be missed.

To all the Doty family, we are so sorry for your loss our deepest thoughts are with you all. Delbert and I shared many adventures, stories and interest throughout the years. I could always count on him for advice when needed and his friendship knew no boundaries. I always enjoyed hearing stories of his youth and appreciated his sense of humor. My dad and Delbert hit it off many years ago having the love of outdoors, hunting and old equipment as a common bond. Of course the fact that they were both born in Iowa only added to that bond.
I'm already missing not being able to call him to chat, ask a question or set up our next adventure to an engine show or just have him go with me on an out of town errand. He was most definitely a positive influence on me all around and his commitment to the community and its history speaks in volumes as to how good his spirit was. He always spoke dearly of all his family and if you were among those who called him friend, you were a better person for that connection.

I was proud to have Delbert as my Uncle. Didn't get to spend as much time as I would of like to with Deb, Josephine and my cousins Mike, Matt, Christine and Jay as I lived in midwest, but I enjoyed our times together and cherish those precious memories. Uncle Delbert was such a intelligent, kind, caring, gentle, and loving man and will be greatly missed by many.
Delbert will always have a special part in my heart. Wishing I could be there for the service it's just not feasible at this time. You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Love and Hugs, Ginger
