Whenever I ran into Josephine, it was always such a blessing!!! It didn't matter if I was in a hurry or had to be somewhere- when I'd see her nothing else mattered and it could wait - because I always enjoyed our talks! What a truly special lady! The real deal! And quite a character!! It was such an honor to Know her. I love you Josephine and your amazing husband and familly❤️

My memories go so far back..1977 practicing cheerleading in the backyard...the morning of Rick & Gias wedding at the same house in 2008... we had lotsa laughs but my favorite memory was when "Mrs. Borelli" went to my dad's 95th birthday in 2013. He was so delighted to see her and Frank. I know my dad and mom are standing behind God waiting for you in heaven! RIP.

I'm usually not at a loss for words, but Josephine's death has overwhelmed me , as I'm sure it has done for all of you and all who loved and admired and respected her.
I think I have known Josephine almost from the first day she arrived in Hollister- I've known her a long time! We shared a lot of experiences together- some of the best being with our families at the beach in Aptos- that was the first thing my children mentioned when I told them about Josephine leaving us. We had such incredible family times! Cooking, laughing, playing games, loving and sharing our families together.
I don't think I know anyone who loved family as much as Josephine-her family was her whole life-her devotion to Frank is unfathomable, and her 4 children & their spouses are blessed to have her for so many fabulous years. Her grandchildren are lucky to have her for the hugs and kisses she must have lavished on them.
Josephine was a wonderful friend. Never passing judgement. Thinking you were the best thing on 2 feet. Enjoying a really good laugh with you , sharing recipes, talking about Italy, the movies, your latest problem with so and so, or with one of the kids.
Open minded, caring, loving, kind, and the best cook & hostess to whom's table I have had the great pleasure of sharing.
Will I miss her? We didn't have to see each other often - but there was always that "connection", "that spark", "that joy" when we ran into each other anywhere. The big hug & kiss. Will I miss her. Oh, yes. You bet I will.
