Andy, I was thinking about you today and was planning on messaging you. I had absolutely no idea you had passed and am in shock as I write this. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to reconnect with you over the past couple of years but am shaken by the fact that you are gone. You made such an impact on my personal and professional life by helping me build the foundation for my success in business and life. I was proud to call you my friend. You will be missed and never forgotten.

As probably all the freshman band members, there were a few Seniors that I looked up to and Andy was one of them. My memory of him was that he was gentle and very sweet. I also remember this one time, seeing him and Tim Cashmere cracking up together and he was laughing so hard, tears were rolling down his cheeks. Such a vivid memory.
My heart is broken. I adored Andy so much. Rest in peace, love.

I am heartbroken. Andy was a good friend; from the time I first moved to Creekside in the 6th grade, I was a gullible and naive kid, and Andy was one of the few kids who didn't tease me, but looked out for me (even through high school). He had a great dry humor, yet a presence that commanded respect, and I really looked up to him. We lost touch, as it so often happens in life. Yet he kept me as a friend on Facebook, anyway. My heart deeply goes out to his close friends and family for this great loss. You are in my prayers.

Andy is my good friend .I live about 8 houses down on the same street. We met through my cousin Chuck. Andy's landlord. We are going to miss him coming over with his cinnamon crumb cake on his off days from AT&T Giants Stadium. We would watch our favorite shows of Bar & Restaurant Rescue that I recorded for us. Andy being in the Food Service Industry Service for years would reflect on the show and his job often telling me stories that were so funny we both be LOL. Andy and I would often walk to our favorite restaurants to get a bite to eat. He said it helped him keep his legs strong for work, for he had to walk up and down many stairs and decks at Giants Stadium. Andy's kind spirit was also seen through his talking about his kids that's he really missed and his parents and his brothers. Yes Sandy & I are going to miss that cinnamon crumb cake and all those specialty dishes he would bring over but most of all we're going to miss that big smile and kind spirit he had. GOD bless Andy's family going through a time of loss. I would like to say thanks to Thee for being Andy's rock and the special women in his heart that stood by him for 17 years. Heavens Gates have opened up for my good friend. GOD BLESS YOU MY BROTHER.WE LOVE YOU AND YOUR GOING TO BE MISSED A GREAT DEAL. Always your friends Johnny & Sandy

Nichols family and friends, I am sad to hear of the passing of Andy. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I remember him as a good friend when we were growing up. We spent many years together in Creekside and Cadwallader School. Words cannot express how we ( my entire Flores Familia ) our feeling right now )
Last night started off with excitement on the train ride with 4 of my kids friends ( 3 ) who have never been to the SF Giants stadium. My kids Alyssa & Dylan who loved your warmth, smile and warm gesture when you would spoil them each year.
When we heard the shocking news, I Just almost fell to the ground in disbelief. My wife literally had to walk me around the stadium to try and understand what was just told to me. Your Gone
Thank You for being a friend, even after 30 years. Your surprise visits at the clubs I would play at, the fun conversations we would have catching up. My mother and father just loved you man.
All I can say is .... I LOVE YOU AMIGO... wish I said that in person.
