Obituary of Robert W. Stevens

Robert W. “Bob” Stevens passed away in Hollister, California on May 4th, 2017 at the age of 78 years.

Bob was the Plant Manager for Fairview Packing Company for many years. He was then a sales representative for the last 20 years at San Benito Foods. He was a member of the Exchange Club of Hollister, the Hollister Downtown Association, the Rotary of San Juan Bautista, Hollister Elks Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He was recognized as Philanthropist of the Year for San Benito County. He was associated with the following businesses: Little She’s, He’s, She’s Old House in San Juan Bautista, The Hot Dog Corner in San Juan Bautista, She’s, The Knife and Fork Café, Heavenly Bakery and She’s Consignment Shop.

He is survived by his wife Sheila Stevens; his three children: Rob Stevens, Theresa Stevens and Jeff Stevens; sister Evelyn Tuckness (Larry); brother Ken Stevens (Birdie). He is also survived by Kelly Valentine, Jay Shinn and Paul Jeffers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews

He will be missed by family and friends as a lifetime resident of San Benito County.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Paine’s Restaurant, 421 East Street, Hollister on Friday, May 12th, 2017 at 12:00 noon.

Contributions are preferred to the Hollister Downtown Association c/o the mortuary.
