I am so sorry to learn of George's passing. I remember fondly of our visit to see him in Santa Cruz many years ago, my one and only time in California. Also remember him racing in the Longsjo bicycle race in Fitchburg, MA. He was a great person. I'm glad he met someone to make his last years happy.

Dear Diane and family,
I will forever treasure my memories of growing up with George and the fun we had as teenagers. I feel so fortunate that I was able to meet up with George again, through Facebook, after so many years. I am forever grateful that he remembered me as well and we came to continue our friendship on the phone. As though no time or distance had passed between us, we talked about everything and sometimes nothing at all. I will miss my dear friend, George and pray he is at peace in a better place. With love and all my heartfelt sympathies, Stacy Z.

What a beautiful tribute to beautiful times shared with George. He is missed by the people and the four-legged kitty that he loved. A beautiful soul. Love, Tee

Diane, we were so sorry to hear about George's passing. He was a very nice man and very fun to be around. Even though we didn't see you both too often, it felt as if we picked up where we left off. The bus rides won't be the same. Our Love, Prayers and Condolences sent to you and George's family. Mario, Margaret Salinas and family.
