Obituary of Karri D. Drake

Karri D. Drake passed away in San Jose, California on January 31, 2017 at the age of 65 years. Karri was born in Hollister, CA to Ruperto and Judy Eligio on October 8, 1951. She is survived by her 4 children: Daughter, Cher Rivera (Amiri) of Hollister, son Jeremiah Rivera (Stephanie) of Arizona, son Anthony Cacho (Becky) of Arizona, Julian Trujillo of Oregon, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael Sparr (Mary) of San Juan Bautista, Nasa Jimenez (Paul) of Hollister, Billie Jimenez (Gabby) of Hollister, Judy Del Real (Anthony) of Lakewood, CA. She is preceded in death by her son MJ Rivera, and her parents Ruperto and Judy Eligio. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, reading, and talking with her grandchildren and watching them participate in sports. Spending time with her family and talking with everyone was important to her. Her dog, Tiny, was her constant companion and accompanied her wherever she went. The beach was one of her favorite places to spend time and she was a forever, Giants fan. Diana Ross was her favorite singer. She enjoyed coordinating bandanas with her outfits and getting her nails done in vibrant colors to match the holiday. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1720 Mimosa Street, Hollister on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
