Mark, Vicki and Michele - My brothers and I grew up on Iris Drive right down the street from your home and your brother Jeff was in my class many years from Sunnyslope to San Benito HS. Your Mom and I shared many things over the years, including craft shows that were put on by the church. When my Mom passed at a young age, she was right there for me to talk to, she and I had many long talks. She was a hard worker and a special person. Sending you thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mark Vicki and Michele
Your Mom and Dad were one of the first people we met when we moved to Hollister in 1969. we moved to the same neighborhood with many new and long time residents of Hollister. We spent several times with our families going to the Grapestake restaurant on 41st in Santa Cruz. We were so saddened and shocked when Phil suddenly passed away at a young age. Kathy went back to school to find a profession to support her young family. She became a successful realtor and would sell our house years later in 2001. In the early seventies Kathy and other Hollister women started the Hollister Jr. Womens Club an off shoot of the Hollister Womens Club. We had many parties, events, and did community work to improve San Benito County., Many of the Jr. Womens Club are still friends to this day.
Kathy was a dear thoughtful friend who was a loving parent and a hard worker for the betterment of women. She was a pillar of strength to her family, friends and husband Gene Kogle. We will always think of her with love and respect.
