Obituary of Roy G. Wilson

Roy Wilson native of Lodi Ca. passed peacefully December 15, 2016. He is preceded in death by his late wife M. Jane (Knaack)Wilson, brothers ; Dave and Joe Wilson, Sister Iris Kooyman. Roy is survived by; Daughter Kristen Murphy (Peter) with Grandchildren, Ryan and Conor Fairfield, Step daughter Patrice Kuerschner (Doug Jr.); Grandchildren Doug Kuerschner III (Angela), Cristaan “Keis” Kuerschner; Great Grandchildren Serena and Heaton Kuerschner ; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was born in Lodi January 24, 1935. Graduated from Lodi High. Entered into the Army going to basic training at Fort Ord Monterey Ca. then off to Europe. Graduated from the University of the Redlands. Roy enjoyed a career with IBM in San Jose Ca. ,specializing in quality assurance programs. After retiring from IBM Roy took up a Banking Career with Bank of America. During retirement Roy enjoyed traveling and became a travel agent. Roy enjoyed spending time with Jane, his family, cats and playing pool. Services will be private. In memorandum donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or charity of your choice.
