Ilda/"Mom", I was thinking of you a lot today. I know that you were a great woman and loving woman that had a very talented family. Your dear husband Carl told me many times how he met you during the war and knew that you and he would be married. You were and for 75 amazing years! You are now in heaven with your parents, sister, husband & son David. Oh the good times we had in SF and when I was honored to drive you from Atherton to SF for David's Christmas on Corbett parties. Also his Birthday pool parties at your house. God bless your soul my dear.

Jack and family: our heart breaks for you at this difficult time. Aunt Ilda was always fun to be around with her love of everything Italian, her singing and dancing, and how she always made you feel loved. Found her graduation picture in a dusty scrapbook. The third picture would be about the time Carl and Mario came home from the war. The fourth picture was taken at Uncle Mario and Aunt Rosie’s house. The next three pictures were from the 2009 Barbieri reunion in Reno. Hugs and love to you and the family…Judy and Randy

Dear Jack and Family-I was so very honored to have Hilly for a friend. I so looked forward to her weekly visits and hanging out with her. She loved seeing Braxton and giving her lots of loves. I would describe her to people who hadn’t met her as a real pistol, and that she was! I know that Carl and David were waiting to take her to the exquisite dining room with all the amazing gourmet Italian foods that she loved. Oh Hilly you will be so missed!
