I was lucky enough to be born as Hank’s sister in law. I have many fun memories of growing up playing at the ranch in Coyote and then in San Juan. We also had so much fun at Rio Del Mar while staying at the cabin over there. Hank and Patty put on wonderful family get togethers eating Hank’s tasty bbq. We were also welcome at Northstar,and have a lot of wonderful memories spent with Patty and Hank up there.Although he will be greatly missed, I know that VoVo and Grandpa were waiting at Heaven’s gate to meet him. It is hard to find a favorite memory from all the times we spent together, since 1970. There are so many. Travels all over, celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, life and love, and sometimes we made up things just celebrate. Hank did all the research for our excursions, so it was easy for us to just "do it", so we did.
One of my favorite memories was sitting in lawn chairs, drinking champagne on a snow-covered lot at Northstar on the day our escrow closed on the lot.
We always felt like family, and sharing grandchildren made that a reality.
I will miss Hank!
