Jaclyn Quintana

Obituary of Jaclyn Elizabeth Quintana

Jaclyn Elizabeth Quintana of Hollister, CA entered eternal rest on November 28, 2023 in San Jose, CA. Her spirit now lives for all eternity. She takes with her every bit of love and positive energy that was poured into her earthly life. She has returned to the stardust from which she came. Our beautiful, beloved Jaclyn was born on May 19, 1995 in Gilroy, CA to proud parents Orlando and Sandra Quintana. Her loving brothers Drew and Devin say she looked like a beautiful pink rose as a new born baby. From 3 years old to her sophomore year in high school, Jaclyn danced with her whole heart and her signature spunk. She developed deep bonds with her dance team and competed in countless competitions. She went to high school at San Benito High and graduated in 2013. She continued her education at both Cabrillo and Gavilan colleges, and obtained her Cosmetology license in 2019. She loved styling hair and took great joy in all things related to sparkle and beauty. She was a free spirit who felt her feelings deeply and always left room in her heart for deep compassion and empathy for others. In her eyes, there was a sense of awe and wonder of the world around her. Her smile showed all the open space that she had inside to hear others stories and she took great delight in it. Jaclyn never judged anyone’s path or journey because she believed all paths lead to the light. Above all else, Jaclyn loved her family the most and Hollister always remained home for her. A devoted daddy’s girl and loyal niner fan, she cherished every moment of togetherness on family camping trips, football games and birthday gatherings. Her mommy has been and always will be her fiercest champion and most loving supporter. There are not words to capture the depth of Jaclyn’s love for us and the depth of our love for her. Her laugh, her heart and her humongous hugs will be forever missed. Jaclyn is giving as generously in death as she gave in life. As an organ and tissue donor, she lives on in legacy through the selfless act of giving the gift of life to others. She is survived by her devoted parents Orlando and Sandy Quintana, her loving brothers Drew and Devin, sister in love Ellie, precious nephews Kade, Cruz and Jay, Grandparents Dolores Bravo (“Grandma Dee”), Homer Rivera, and Lydia Gonzales, many dear aunties, uncles, cherished cousins and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her Grandpa Nano and Grandpa Abraham. Thank you Jaclyn for bringing so much love and light into our lives and for breaking our hearts wide open so that we can all learn to love deeper, wider and with forgiveness for all. You live forever in our hearts. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 12pm at Christ Fellowship Church, located at 2066 San Benito St in Hollister, CA. The family requests that all donations be made to Sun Street Centers using the following link: https://sunstreetcenters.org/get-involved/donate/ On the website, under "My Donation is for", please select "Women's Hollister Residential Program" and under "Comments", please indicate "In Honor of Jaclyn Quintana".
