Obituary of Nicolasa Galvan Perez

Nicolasa (Nicki) Galvan Perez passed away on November 28th, 2023, in Hollister, California. She was born in Grand Island, Nebraska to Secundino & Isabel Galvan on February 28th, 1935. She went to school in Grand Island, Nebraska. She worked as an ESL aide for Oak Grove School District in San Jose for almost 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, crocheting, and spending time with her family. While working for the school district she was involved with Madres en Accion an organization that raised money for various school activities and scholarships. Nicki is survived by 4 siblings, 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, grandparents, three siblings, and her beloved granddaughter Eddy Lois. Visitation will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home in Hollister on Thursday December 7th from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a Rosary scheduled there at 6:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Saint Benedicts Church in Hollister on Friday December 8th at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Calvery Cemetery in Hollister at 2:00 PM.
