Arnold R. Egger, 90, of Hollister, CA, passed away on October 19, 2023 in Hollister, CA.

Arnold was born in Los Angeles, California to Emil and Ellen Egger on June 28, 1933. Arnold met and married Joan Michell and after visiting a friend in Hollister, they decided that it would be a great place to raise their five kids and moved there in 1962. Arnold worked for Teledyne-McCormick Selph as the head of the drafting department at the Hollister airport and then took on the job of San Benito County Building Inspector from 1971 until 1980 when he resigned his position and moved with his wife and two younger daughters to pursue other interests out of state. He moved back to Hollister in 2011 after retirement and was active in San Benito Masonic Lodge #211 of Hollister, Texas Lodge #46 in San Juan Bautista and Eastern Star Athena Chapter#46.

He is survived by his children: Michael (Catherine) Egger, Nelson (Pam) Egger, Kathrine (James) Filice, Ellen (Dale) Doxtater and Julie Switzer. He has 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Emil, Mother Ellen and wife Joan.

Burial service will be held at Rockawalkin Church, Hebron, Maryland.
