Dear Uncle Jimmy-
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal. I will always remember your stewardship of the land & your care for all the family. May the winds off the hills caress you. May lakes and rivers bless you. Love Always, Tess & Family.

Jim:
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

What a shock to my mother and I to hear that Jim has passed. Jim was quite a character and I am saddened to know that he is no longer here with us. I think of him often and regret not keeping in touch as often as I would have liked. Rest easy Jim Rau.

You were always Uncle Jim to us kids! You held a very special place in our hearts! We all grew up together on the ranch. We hunted and fished and swam in the lower lake. We are all members of a very special family! Families are not perfect, but we had so much fun! I have so many fond memories of all the Mothers, Fathers Grandmothers, Grandfathers, Aunts Uncles and of Frank & I. I remember when we would come to town, we would come to your mothers house. We would get so excited to be going to town! Hollister has always held a special place in my heart. You were a star on your football team! You were a great uncle and friend! Your children are special as you are. I remember when Kelly and I took Vanessa to Bear Valley to ski. We had a great time. I am now residing in Hollister. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten my friend! I will cherish the last time I saw you on Valley View. You were working on you property. I had not seen you in years. I am so glad we had a long conversation! God bless you and keep you until we all meet again!

Rest in Peace Jimmy. We were neighbors growing up on Nash Rd. You and my brother Carl were buddies too.
My sincere condolences to all of your family.

Oh my! What a shock. I am so saddened. His mother was my kindergarten teacher at Fremont.and she let me have 8 X 10 photo of my Dad on the piano!
Years later when I was building my house, Jim came over and volunteered many times to halp me. Of course, at the end of the day I would barbecue for my helpers. God bless and my sincere condolences to the family.

So very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I’ve known him since his Mom was my teacher in 1st grade. We did business with three generations of his family at San Benito Glass and he was always a fair and honest man. He loved his children and grandchildren and he will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with you as you navigate through these troubled waters. Rip Jim..gone way to soon

I will remember the friendship of Jim that he shared with me and then my daughter. I've known Jim for well over 40 years and he was and will always be remembered as a good friend and you could see how much he loved his 2 children: Vanessa & Jacob. Many prayers and thoughts go out to his children and extended family as they go through life without their Dad and loved one.
