Obituary of Darlene Helmer

Darlene Helmer went to be with the Lord peacefully at home on February 2, 2023, at the age of 90 years old. She is survived by her two daughters Debbie Peters ( husband Nick Peters) and Tammy Freitas. Also survived by her beloved baby brother, Eddie King. She enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren: Mathew Peters, Russ Peters (Wife Katie Peters) Christina Fox (Husband Matt Fox), Peggy Peters Wight, Josh Freitas (Wife Natalie Freitas), Justin Freitas ( Wife Ashley Freitas) along with her eleven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Proceeded by her parents and husband, Orvel Helmer of forty-nine years. Darlene was a seamstress for many years but truly enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and her vanilla ice cream.
