I just, tonight, 3/29/23, learned of Darlene's passing. She, like everyone before me, spoke of her kindness. She was an excellent seamstress, and always made us aprons for Christmas. I know my Mom always couldn't wait to open hers, me either. We had some fun camping trips, and she was a great fisherman. I also remember her spraying her doggie with cold water when he barked too much. You'll be missed by all.

Darlene was truly a light in our life! I was able to stay with her a few days a week at least and I got to watch the cooking channel with her. We would banter about how Bobby Flay needed to lose on “Beat Bobby Flay” and how we had never heard of some of the ingredients on other cooking shows. I will forever miss, “Hey kid,” when I walked in the door and “what are you up to.” She has truly been a light in my life but I will forever remember her wisdom and sayings, “ Just because they say it’s wrong doesn’t make them right!” What a jewel, heaven sure is brighter now. It’s not good-bye but see you later and we can’t wait! We love you and will forever cherish the memories we have with you and your amazing family. Love, Chad & Tiffany Zgragen
