Obituary of Pamela Noble Nelson
On November 2, 2022 Pamela Noble Nelson “The Mother”, loving wife and mother of two passed away at the age of 78.
Pam was born on April 5, 1944 in Pasadena, California to Chester & Darlyn Noble. In December 1963 Pam married Thomas Roy Gaian of Manhattan Beach, California. Pam and Tom had two children together, Heidi Gaian and Bradford Noble Gaian.
Later in April 1977 Pam married Daniel Eugene Nelson of Palos Verdes, California. Pam & Dan were married on Santa Catalina Island.
After marrying Dan, she followed her dream of working with Dressage horses for their living. Originally living in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, they later moved to Coalinga, California and started their horse business called Oak Tree Station. In 1989, they moved to Hollister, California and purchased the property that is now known as Villa Rosa. They continued their business of training, breeding and selling Dressage Horses.
In addition to the horses, Pam loved all animals, especially her beloved doggies. She also had a passion for roses and gardening. Eventually she and Dan planted hundreds of roses at Villa Rosa. Pam was quite a talented amateur artist and was always one to be working on a crafts project. She loved dancing and music (especially Elvis and Adele). Pam was the ultimate Christmas hostess and was known for her over-the-top seasonal decorating. Over the years, Pam and Dan enjoyed many trips flying their Bonanza airplane.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother Darlyn, father Chester, husband Dan and sister Diane. She is survived by her daughter Heidi, son Bradford, son-in-law Jim, daughter-in law Alexis and brother Norman.
A Celebration of Pam’s Life will take place at Villa Rosa in the Spring of 2023.
