Dear Cembellin Family ~
I hold close to my heart all the great times I spent with Sandy and her family at their home on 7th Street, at the high school when Glo substituted, and the baseball field, where my dad was a coach because of Frank's encouragement.
Frank and Glo always made you feel like family when you walked through the door - Frank always teasing Sandy and her friends, and Glo telling him to leave us alone. He had the most wonderful personality, and laugh.
As an adult, I was fortunate to visit them in Oregon a couple of times. Again, opening their home and refusing to let me and my parents stay in a hotel.
He touched so many in the communities he lived in - from Hollister to Brookings. He will be missed . . . and may the sympathy of those who care make the sorrow of your hearts less difficult to bear.

I am sorry to hear about Frank.. I lived next-door to Frank and Glo in 1959..They were 2 of my favorite people..Frank would Knock on my window and say “come on Winn let’s go swimming.” I stopped to see them in Brookings,or. a couple of times. Fond memories of two wonderful friends.

To the family, my sincere condolences, your dad made such an impact on all of us as we grew up loving baseball. The opportunities and the great memories we carry for the rest of our lives and our children's lives. I was fortunate to live on 5th Street with all the gang on Tiffany Drive, and 7th, and Line Streets. We were so blessed to live in the greatest decade, the 1950s. As I drive down Tiffany Drive, I always see your old home on 7th.
