We literally just heard the devastating news about Yangtse. We were long time customers of her restaurant. Words cannot describe who she really was. She was definitely in a category of her own. Always friendly, warm, welcoming and she treated us like family. She knew what we were ordering before we would sit down. We have been to many Thai restaurants and hers by far was the best. Nothing came close to being as good as hers. We send our condolences to the family and regret that it took us this long but we just found out minutes ago. Our hearts are broken and wherever she is we hope she is happy. In sweet loving memory of Yangtse. You are always in our hearts.

I don’t know where to begin to express my condolences and sorrow upon hearing about the passing of your beloved Yangste.
We had so many wonderful, joyful times with Yangste at the restaurant over the past 20+ years.
Yangste had a unique way of making everyone feel special and important. Her bubbly personality will be missed.
I hope she’s having a glass of wine with Gene in heaven.

Yang and I worked together in San Diego - La Jolla. I remember her beautiful voice singing wonderful songs. She was a reliable partner, giving to staff and customers alike. We would talk at long hours at night as we went through tough times. She was a beautiful soul. I cry when I think all she had to suffer through. I will remember her forever. She had such a beautiful heart. Talented successful business woman, beloved by her partners and her staff, and her customers loved her. I miss her so much.

I remember being pregnant with my daughter Eden, I only wanted spicy food, and the hotter the better. I must have eaten the taste of Thai tofu hot pot 10 times during my pregnancy. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as Yhangzie was always smiling and blessing people with her hospitality. My daughter is 21 now… and those memories are as fresh as if they were yesterday. God bless her family and friends…may she Rest In Peace.
