Obituary of Joseph Stanley Kalin

Joseph Stanley Kalin of Hollister, California passed away on May 22, 2021. Joseph was born on July 4th, 1930 to William Kalin and Josephine Bieleski. Joseph was the middle child of two siblings. His eldest brother Ed and youngest brother Frank Kalin have passed away. In his youth, Joseph enjoyed walking across the United States with his best friend, and volunteering as a firefighter. Later in his life, he enjoyed fishing, trapping and prospecting. He was employed as an aluminum stretcher in Watsonville for 15 years. He spent his retired days walking to Nob Hill, playing the lottery, raising chickens and enjoying naps. Joseph leaves behind 5 children: Susan LaDean, Lyn, Jeff, John and Desiree. He will be buried with his wife, Tillie Kalin. Funeral Services will take place at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, 600 Buena Vista Road, Hollister on Thursday, May 27th at 11:00 a.m.
