Obituary of Mitchell Frank Matulich

Mitchell Frank Matulich, known by his many friends and family as “Mitch”, passed away suddenly at his home in Hollister, CA on March 7, 2021 at the age of 54. Mitch was a lifelong resident of Hollister, CA and worked alongside his brother-in-law, Ed Brady, as a pest control technician for EBCO Pest Control. He was known by family, friends that were like family and loyal customers for his upbeat, friendly and personable nature. Mitch enjoyed watching and talking about many sports; NASCAR, 49ers football, Warriors basketball, Giants baseball and the NHL Red Wings were among his favorites. He enjoyed discussing politics and current events with his nieces and was always willing to agree with their viewpoints, even if he didn't! Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Barbara Matulich. Mitch is survived by his sister and her husband, Mitch’s long time employers, Toni and Ed Brady, and sister Susan Knowles all of Hollister, CA. As well as 5 nieces and a nephew that he enthusiastically introduced his love for Heavy Metal music and many great nieces and nephews. He leaves behind two beloved dogs, Maggie and Jamie, that brought him so much joy. A devoted son, brother, uncle and friend, Mitch will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. The family will have a private service.
