Dearest Hagins Family ~
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Your parents were my parents best friends and now they are all together once again!
What fun we all had living on Walnut Lane. Such great memories I have of our times with each other. Don and Marian were my second parents and I loved our trips to the cabin and Lake Tahoe.
They will live on in my heart forever.

I''m so very sorry for your loss. I only knew him a short time, but he made a very big impact in a very tough time of my life. My mom was there also there and your dad was a bright light every day for me. I'm sorry, after my mom passed 2 weeks ago, i haven't made it back. He was truly one of the sweetest men I have known. I will forever be grateful for that warm smile and his hand in my hand every time I walked by, always a smile for me and made me feel better.

Im very sorry for your family's loss of Don. For five almost six years, my folks, Albert and Bernice Sonne' lived at Mabie South. My dad and Don were friends and enjoyed visiting with one another and joking around a bit. I always took time to talk to Don each day when I visited my folks. After my mom passed, it was hard for my dad and for a short time Don moved into the same room as my dad. we were very much hoping the companionship would do both of them a little good.
Don was always very kind to me and we would sit at times talking asking questions about the old days in San Benito County. He had a wonderfully long life, and I know was proud of all his family. My thoughts are with you all.

Many fond memories of the "Don" patrol out at Bolado Golf Course, he was always ready to go. Remembering a time I was drawn for his team in a tournament and we had a tough 40 ft putt for birdie and he convinced us it was an easy putt and we made it! My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

To the Hagins family so sorry for your loss but he is in a better place with Aunti Marion. We where just telling stories up at Mono this weekend of all the fun times Mark had with Uncle Don and how much everyone loved him. I love the story about Don getting hit with a bat and Dave caring him all the way home. His buddy. Such a void but lots of memories to cherish.

Such great memories of being at the Hagins household. My Uncle was a great, funny spirited guy who loved his wife Marian and his boys.. My thoughts and prayers to his children, their wives, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. I'm sorry I will not be able to attend the services but I am their in spirit. RIP Uncle Don, give my mom and dad a big hug for me! (And Auntie Marian too...but I know you two are already reunited).
