Thomas (Tom) Bridge, 81 died unexpectedly on February 19, 2021 at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. He was born July 22, 1939 in Summerset Massachusetts, the son of Milton and Sarah Bridge. Following high school, he enlisted in the 392d Civil Engineering Squadron SAC and served six years at Vandenburg Air force Base, CA. He received an honorable discharge on the 20th day of January 1963. He was also awarded a Good Conduct Medal at time of departure. He worked as an Insurance Broker with Farmers Insurance for over 50 years. He met his wife Wilma (Johnson) who worked as the secretary to the Colonel of the 392d Civil Engineering Squadron they married on September 22,1959. They celebrated 61 years of marriage in September of 2020. He was a loyal member of the Hollister Elks Lodge and was recently recognized for his 50 year membership. He was also very active and involved in the Bolado Park and Ridgemark Men's Club where he served as president along with other various positions. He was the President/Owner of the Highlands Golf & Country Club in Hutchinson Kansas. He was very active with the community of Hollister where he was president of Little League and Pop Warner Football. He also coached teams in each sport. Tom is survived by his loving wife Wilma Bridge, his children, Rene' Rhodes ( Rick), Kari Bridge (Tammy), Lynda Jensen (Kelly) and Randy Bridge (Laurie). His grandchildren, Curtis and Kyle Rhodes, Thomas, Stephen, Brandon and Sarah Shores, Kelsey D'Elia, (Jensen), Tanner Jensen and Ryan Jensen, Ashley Coutu and Breanna Messenger and 19 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton Bridge and Sarah Ivester, his siblings Milton Bridge, Bobby Bridge, Alan Bridge, Sheila Demello and his grandson Reggie Jensen. Arrangements will be private.
