Obituary of Ilona Mary Racz

Ilona passed away at Stanford Hospital, surrounded by her friends, from side effects of COVID-19 19. Ilona is preceded in death by her father, John Racz from Torincs, Czechoslovakia; and mother, Helen (Pinter) Racz form Nemti, Nograd, Hungary. Ilona was born in Verdun, France. Her father was career military so they moved to Bethieham, PA where they lived until Ilona was in the 7th grade. Ilona lived at 700 B Street for 46 years; where her neighbors were her family. She attended San Benito High School where she was a cheerleader. If you knew Ilona, you know she loved to play games of any kind. Her favorites were Trivia and cards and she loved puzzles. She was extremely competitive, almost to a fault. Ilona was a licensed masseuse, clairvoyant and read auras. She was also an avid pet person and had 6 dogs that she loved. Each one was rescued for a better life. Petey, being the only boy, Annie, grace Elaine, Lady (R.I.P.), Layla Louise and Maddie. “All went to good homes”. If you were Ilona’s friend, she would do anything for you. She was a great friend and will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
