Obituary of Elena F Torres

Elena F. Torres passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital in Hollister, California at the age of 82. Elena was born in Laredo, Texas. She came to Hollister, California at the age of 17 years old. She was employed at Tri Valley Growers for 28 years. She loved listening to music and going to the casinos. She had a big heart for everyone and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She is survived by her three daughters: Lupe Perez (Frank) Delia Torres and Elvira Torres. Her Grandchildren: Corina Perez, Priscilla Perez, Andrea Ortega, Michelle Mendiola, Amanda Mendiola, Jose Ralph Guzman, Christa Guzman and Jasmine Gonzalez. Her great- grandchildren: Cassandra Vallejo, Emilio Vallejo, Isaias Perez, Martiza Perez, Audrina Ortega, Pedro Ortega IV, Paulo Ortega and Tiffany Fonseca, and her great-great grandchildren; Annalieyah Jimenez, Zulay Perez and Zion Perez. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph R. Torres “Remembering our Mom/Grandma who asked for so little but gave so very much” Visitation will be on Sunday, January 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ***** Covid Rules will apply ***** On Monday, January 11th, family and friends will meet at St. Benedict Church at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of the Resurrection. Private interment will follow at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
