Richard was a wonderful, thoughtful man who loved the Lord. I'm saddened to read of his passing and at the same time am thankful that he's in heaven with Jesus! He was willing to face problems and try to tackle them. My condolences go to Aldena and their daughter.

I worked with RJ 22 years at Pacific Scientific, he was a wonderful colleague and friend.
RJ was a true man of faith, his testimony was the kind that would lead anyone to faith. We shared many stories from the Bible and prayed with each other in a time of need, I truly could feel the Holy Spirit overwhelm me by RJ’s touch.
Like all of us, some days were tough but RJ wouldn’t stay upset, he’d usually get back to joking and enjoying his fellow associates especially Miguel( RJ even learned some Spanish)
RJ will be deeply missed, my prayers go out to his family, friends and the Test Department at Pacific Scientific.
I know RJ was ready to meet his savior.
God Bless all.

It is with great sympathy and sadness to have loss one of brother’s in the department. RJ was a great contributor to our department and great mentor to the newly hire Tech’s. He would always carry a smile and did not let anything bother him. I know in our meetings, I would ask “What are you working on today” and he would look across and say to Serafin and Miguel “We are making money today” and with a smile the guys would reply “That’s Right”…Well my great friend, I will surely missed you and like Yvonne mentioned. We will see each other again…

I just wanted to say how Blessed I am to have met RJ. He always had some good advice to give not only to me but to all the other Technicians in our Department. He always had a big smile and sometimes some chocolate treats. Gonna miss that Man... but I believe that I will see you again...My Friend.

For 35 years Richard (RJ) and I worked together at Teledyne (later called Pacific Scientific) in the Test Dept. We became good friends as we worked together in sometimes very stressful situations. He was a hard worker and faithful to the end, always going the extra mile to help our test team be successful. I retired in 2016 and had not seen RJ until one day we crossed paths at Home Depot. We were both looking for tools to cut weeds. It was a wonderful moment for talking about the old days at Teledyne and all the latest gossip.
This is a sad time with the passing of my friend RJ. My condolences and thoughts go out to his family and friends. I know that now RJ will be cared for by the Lord he loved so much.
