Gloria Jean Grimsley of Hollister, CA, was born on June 19, 1947 and passed away on Friday, July 15th 2016 in Hollister, CA. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and niece. Gloria is survived by her husband, David Grimsley, son Stephen Grimsley (his wife Karey and their son Austin, stepchildren Brittany and Dylan Stagg), daughter Jennifer Nagle (her husband Taylor Nagle and their son, Xander), sister Mary Ann Corpuz (her husband Rudy and their children Nicole and Michael), her brother David Rochelle, aunt Theresa Cox and uncle Richard Bravo (his wife Mary). Gloria Rochelle was born and raised in the small farming Northern California town of Hollister and attended Fremont Elementary, R.O Hardin Junior High and Hollister High School. Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweet heart and the love of her life, Dave Grimsley. They settled on a ranch not too far from where she was born and soon gave birth to son Steve, followed by daughter Jennifer. Gloria and Dave lived in Hollister, CA their entire lives and would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2016. Gloria was a loyal and dedicated presence to everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren. She is remembered as the glue of her family and had a gift of humor that was infectious and marveled by all. Her profound passion of cooking and assembling multiple family gatherings were highlighted by her warmth, charm, enthusiasm and boundless loyalty. The deep respect and gratitude she had for her family, friends and community served as the foundation of her genuine compassion and sincere kindness. It is certain that Gloria will be remembered most for her nurturing and loving essence, extraordinary heart, beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, wonderful sense of humor, and her mischievous chuckle that was a favorite of all. She was a proud, generous, gracious, lovely, kind, funny, talented and wise woman whose greatness will live on in her children and grandchildren.
