Carmen Montoya Flores, passed away on November 28th, 2020 at the age of 68, in Stanford, California. Carmen was born in Ysleta, Texas to Arnulfo and Teresa Montoya on March 27th, 1952. She went to high school at San Benito High in Hollister, and graduated in 1971. Carmen lived in Hollister for most of her life. She met Salvador, her husband of 50 years while attending high school. She worked as a cook for Go Kids, Inc. for 19 years. She enjoyed being with her family, eating out, and traveling. She was loved by so many and she was a beautiful lady that always had a smile. She referred to everyone as mijo and mija because when you were with her, you were part of her family. She will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known her. Carmen is preceded in death by her father Arnulfo Montoya, her mother Teresa Montoya, her brother Danny Montoya, her sister Margie Muniz, and her sister Alice Rivera. Carmen is survived by her husband Salvador Flores, her daughter Jessica Kranz, her son in-law Craig Kranz, her daughter Michelle Flores, her son Salvador Flores Jr, and her daughter in-law Amber Flores, her granddaughters Shelby Kranz, Jazmine Flores, Aaliyah Flores, Emma Kranz and her grandson Salvador Flores III. She is also survived by her siblings Raymond Montoya, Arnold Montoya, Linda Montoya, Oscar Montoya, Anita Navarrete, Rick Montoya and many nieces and nephews. There are no services at this time due to Covid-19. There will be a celebration of life held at a later time.
