I'm so sorry to hear the passing of my mom's beloved friend, Mrs. Nyland. I was fortunate enough to see her a couple of years ago near where I live now in Escondido. Imagine my surprise to see a Hollister/San Juan local in San Diego area. I hugged her and cried. Told her how much she meant to me because she threw my mom a baby shower when she was pregnant with me, her 11th child. My mom Ramona Warren told me this story my whole life and every time we saw Mr. & Mrs. Nyland. I hope you all find comfort knowing your parents are now together. Blessing Mrs. Nyland & thank you.

I was not close to Mrs. Nyland, but any contact I had was delightful. May she rest in peace, and I wish condolences to her family.
