Not everyone gets to have a grandson but God gave me one.
I’m thankful for my grandson Matthew and our time together he was literally a gift from God and he was so fun and a free spirit. Wow, I was so blessed he called me Grandma ❣️

This picture was taken at one of Matthew’s best friend’s wedding in Fall of 2016. Matthew Albert was my first love, and that once in a life time first deep love for me. Matthew had the best witty banter ever and that was my favorite thing about him. Matthew had this way of making fun of you, but at the same time it made you feel so loved and special. He was one of a kind. He is one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure to know closely for a bit of time. He was one of my soulmates.
The last day I saw Matthew was May 17th of 2020. It was a Sunday morning and we had breakfast together. I ordered a Nutella banana crepe, and he started making fun of me saying “I’m not the one eating a poopy diaper!” (Asshole!) We laughed so hard and it brought me back to the memories we had years prior when we were together. I will never be able to eat a Nutella banana crepe again because of him! LOL. I haven’t had one since. He had this ability to make everyone smile and laugh so hard. He had this way of helping everyone around him, and taught so many people what really matters in life. He lived such a beautiful full life. I am at peace knowing how happy we was with his new life up North after moving from Los Angeles. He had the best smile and the most beautiful eyes ever. I always got lost in them.
Matthew Albert ~ I will honor your memory and the amends that I made to you, for the rest of my life. I will forever be in love with you. I will always love you. I will always miss you and I will never, ever forget you. I thank God everyday for the opportunity to date and love someone wholeheartedly, as I loved you. Thank you for making me a better person. Gods got you Matthew. I will love you for the rest of my life.

I met Matt when I was new in the group. We became fast friends. He was fun, funny, friendly and generous of spirit. He was kind. He was a good friend and will be missed. Tina and family, I am so sorry for your terrible loss. My heart goes out to you.

Thank you to the untold number of people who prayed for our Matthew, prayed for our family, sent meals and donated money, even though to some of you, we are strangers. Your generosity of spirit has held us up during these many months. We are so thankful to you.
