Obituary of Juana Ramirez

Our beloved mother, Juana Ramirez, passed away October 22, 2020 at her San Juan Bautista residence surrounded by her loving family. Mom was such an important part of our lives; with her smile, her stern looks to her children, her strength and her advice. She would make you feel welcome into her home with her kind heart. She was such a great cook; and if you had the privilege of eating her food, you were one of the lucky ones! Mom would feed the neighborhood kids, but mostly my best friend who she loved like a son. Mom was hard working and knew how to have fun. She loved to dance, sing and to hit the casino life!! Juana was a loving wife to her devoted husband of 50 plus years, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. We are heartbroken and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 29th, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home *** Covid rules will apply *** On Friday, October 30th, family and friends will meet at Mission San Juan Bautista at 12:00 noon for a Mass of the Resurrection. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hollister.
