Obituary of Dolores Resendez

Please share a memory of Dolores to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dolores Resendez, at the young age of 52, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 12, 2020 at 7:30 pm in Prunedale, CA. Dolores "Dolly" was born on October 29, 1967 at 5:08 pm at Queen of the Valley Hospital, West Covina, CA to mother, Carol Bell and father, Miguel Resendez, Jr. Dolly is survived by her lifetime partner Dino Ratsep and her four children, Vincent Serrano, Joshua Dean Ratsep, Nicole Taylor Cardenas, Danielle Taylor and two grandchildren - Trevor Miguel Cardenas and Layla Jade Ratsep-Finn, Grandmother, Annie Barnes Aversa, Mother, Carol, Father Miguel, Step-Mother Vivian, Siblings: Mike Resendez, Julie Anna Resendez, Jimmy Christian, Jade Resendez and lots of aunts and uncles. Dolly was an amazing mother and grandmother; she was totally devoted to family. She always put her family first and spent most of her adult life as a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and baking and would prepare the most delicious meals, cakes and cookies. She loved caring for her home and was very creative in decorating and making the family home a very warm and comfortable place to be. Dolly would welcome all family friends into the home, she would mentor them, care for them and love them like her own. She put her family first, always making sure everyone was happy, safe and loved. She loved with all heart and cared so much about the people around her. Dolly's charisma and amazing personality were incomparable, she would light up a room and immediately engage people in conversation and laughter. The sound of her voice and laughter would captivate everyone around her. She touched many people's hearts and souls with her kindness, uniqueness and most of all would have everyone around laughing out loud within a matter of minutes - she owned the room. She was always dancing, singing and making people laugh. Dolly was a beautiful ray of light and love, for her family, friends and every sort of animal. She loved to feed the Deer and Foxes that would pass near our home - she would always stop along the roadside to take pictures of the wild turkeys passing by. She always had cats and dogs in her home and Dolly spoiled them, loved them and always talked sweetly to them like they were her babies. Her children describe her as strong, super smart, beautiful, creative and an awesome woman. Her family expresses that Dolly could outshine the sun with her illuminating light. She will be missed forever! Visitation will be on Friday, October 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private
