Yolanda Richter passed away unexpectedly in Hollister, California on September 15th, 2020 at the age of 72 years. Yolanda was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas on April 1st, 1948. She was one of six children born to Margarito and Maria Garza Salinas. She was a very kind, friendly and outgoing soul. Yolanda and her family moved to California in 1971 and she has resided in Hollister since August of 2008. She fought extremely hard for 9 years battling her chronic kidney disease. She loved her family very much and she will be greatly missed by all. Yolanda is survived by her son Albert Salinas Sr.; brothers Placido “Paul” Salinas (Sandi) and Samuel Salinas; sisters Noemi “Mimi” Mendolla (Adam) and Della Roque (Dan); nephews and nieces: Adam Mendolla & Tara Mendolla, Jenny & Rene Arbizu, Sabrina Cook, Danny & Stelle Roque and Priscilla Roque; great-nephews and nieces: Tea Rose & Michael Mendolla, Joseph & Ritchie Roque, Matthew Arbizu and Amelia & Danny Roque Jr. She was preceded in death by her father Margarito Salinas and mother Maria Garza Salinas; and brother David Salinas. Per her wishes, services will be private “The day God took you home” A million times I've needed you A million times I've cried, If love alone Could have saved you You never would have died.
