Hi Mom,
It's Thanksgiving 2020 and we are all missing you. I took it for granted that you would always be here. I have so many regrets, not visiting you in California often, when I should have taken time out to travel and see you. That is something that will weigh heavy on my heart. This year has been such a hard year with Covid19 and our family has to celebrate Thanksgiving with only the members who live in our homes for fear that we may pass or catch Covid19 from family who are not in our household. It's such a foreign concept and something that we've never had to do before. It's been such a sad year, because we also are not able to call you to say, "Happy Thanksgiving Mom!" I made the turkey and stuffing and the other foods that you've taught me how to cook...and I felt your presence, but also felt the pang of missing you. I will always love you Mom. I will remember all the good things that you've done for me and for others, all the happy memories that we've shared and all the wonderful things that you've taught me. Moms are those who champion your cause, who protects you from harm, who helps you to be strong when you need strength and who advises you, when you need answers or a little help here and there. Thank you for always being strong for us when things got tough, for never abandoning us when we needed you, and for showing us what a strong woman does to keep things together. I love you, mom!! I will miss you dearly!! May angels keep you safe and happy and may you rest in peace, without a worry, knowing that we will all be okay because you've taught us how to love, how to forgive, how to pick ourselves up and be strong and how to survive. Our family is huge and we are strong together (or apart nowadays) and we all love one another. I love you, mom! Hu Guaiya Hao! Happy Thanksgiving & Thank you for everything you've taught me, Mom!
With Love and Prayers,
Bobbie Castro Manibusan

Deepest condolences and prayers for my cousins. Nina will truly will be missed. Growing up in Harmon Field, I learned a lot from Nina. She taught me about our culture. I have fond memories of the Christmas novenas and going house to house, the Christmas Chamorro songs - I learned them from her. Stories of the taotaomonas and the white lady at the flame tree in front of the house. I earned my first income from her when she would pay us kids to gather cow manure for her roses. Such found memories of a good woman who always was smiling. Love you dearly Nina.

To my precious Mom,
Mere words could never convey the depth of my love for you nor measure the gratitude I feel for the unconditional love you gave me, the lessons you taught me, your unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement. You showed me the meaning of faith, and dignity, by your example I learned kindness, generosity, empathy, and respect. By watching you I understood Graciousness and humility. I have been truly blessed and proud to be your daughter. I will love and adore you for infinity. You will live on in my heart and soul, in my memories and thoughts, my remembrance and prayers. U guiya hao My Mom!
