Obituary of Carol M. Battle

On June 23, 2016 heaven was blessed with a new angel. At the age of 58, Carol Mischelle Battle, better known as “Mishy” to most, left this earth to join her brothers, sister, mother and father. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Battle, her daughters, August Jewison and Tiana James and her son Ronnie Jewison. She has seven grandchildren and one great grandson blessed into this world. Mishy was an avid camper and dirt bike rider. When she and her husband could do both she was the happiest person in the world. She worked Retail most of her life and loved every minute of it but she considered camping her other job. San Simeon State Beach was her favorite place to be. Being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister she touched so many lives. Cancer may have taken her body but her soul will live on through memories. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday,July 9, 2016 at 2pm at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. A request to wear pink, which is a cancer awareness color, has been requested if possible.
