I am very sorry to lose my cousin Doug. I have so many childhood memories of him at family gatherings of the Hooton clan. My sympathies go out to Sandy and family and to his sister Deb and her family. He is the first of our Hooton cousins to leave us and he will be greatly missed.

Prayers & Sympathy for family of Doug Hooton. We knew Doug from the classic car club. He was a nice guy & we enjoyed hanging out with him at the car functions. Rest in peace Doug. Well, we thought we would have a lot more time to enjoy Doug's friendship, opinions and knowledge. He was upbeat even when the odds were against him. He was always the first to voluteer to help and hardly ever mentioned his own struggles with his health. His experience and knowledge in many fields was amazing. When we went to car shows he was great to have along to help trouble shoot for others or sometimes even with his own car! Lunches every Wednesday at the Wooden Nickel will be much quieter, but his many friends and family who have gone before will be happy to welcome him. We wish Sandy and all of his family peace in knowing that Doug has no more pain. Till we meet again, Bro, we will miss you. Bob and Jolene
