Obituary of Edward O. Armenta

Please share a memory of Edward to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edward O. Armenta passed away in Sunnyvale, California on June 9, 2016, at the age of 87 years. After bravely serving in the Army for six years and receiving two medals and one badge during the Korean War, Edward Armenta moved to Hollister, CA, and worked as a foreman on a ranch. A few years later, he met the love of his life, Miss Emma Partida and the happy couple were married in August 1961. Mr. and Mrs. Armenta had two daughters and three sons. Edward Armenta later worked as a custodian for the Hollister School District and retired in 1997. Our beloved departed has now joined his beautiful wife and son in an everlasting paradise. He is loved, remembered, and will be deeply missed by his children Edward Armenta Jr., Tina Guiza, Tony Armenta, and Elena Jimenez, his ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, family members, and friends. He continues to live through the memories and lives of everyone, who misses and loves him, but our goodbyes are only temporary, we will see you again. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. when a Celebration of life will begin. A Mass of the Resurrection will be recited on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Church. Burial, with full military honors, will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A reception at St. Benedict Hall will follow the burial.
