My condolences to Gene's family. My father was Joseph Danieli and Ida was my aunt. We rarely saw each other's families, but I always enjoyed the food and the memories and the family stories.

Dear Louis,
I want to offer my sincere condolences on your recent loss. I was shocked to hear the news of Gene's passing and I can only imagine how difficult it has been for you, Mike, Mark, Marty and rest of the family.
Gene was a special person who could light up a room with his smile. Though he was quiet and never sought to bring attention to himself, everyone loved him. I always looked forward to seeing him.
Though we haven't gotten to spend as much time together in recent years as I would have liked, I regarded him among my dearest childhood memories. He was a wise, kind man that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
I hope that in some small way these words will bring comfort to you and your family at this sad time. May God's blessings and peace be with you.
