Obituary of Linda L. Lenoir

Linda Lenoir, 70, of Paicines, Ca. passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, December 28th, at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by loving family. Services for family and friends are planned in the spring. Linda was born in Salinas, Ca. and resided in Prunedale, Ca. as a youth, the youngest child of Leon and Edna Barton born on September 13, 1949. She married Timothy Lenoir 51 years ago. During their marriage they raised a family of four children. Linda was a semi-stay at home mom and grandmother. In her later years she was employed as an office manager at the Miracle Miles in Gilroy; a job she really enjoyed. She was also a past Recreation Manager for Thousand Trails in San Benito County. Linda was renowned for her kindness to all. She always saw the good in everyone with never an unkind word. She was very dedicated to her grandchildren and great granddaughter. They love her endlessly. Linda spent many a day praying for her family and friends. Linda was a avid gardener and loved to tend the soil and work with her hands. She was also an accomplished artist with beautiful brush strokes and talent. She also loved to fish and caught some good ones throughout her time fishing and camping with her family. Linda is survived by her husband Tim and by her children Brian Lenoir (Carol), Dusty Lenoir, Derrick Lenoir and Malinda Sumaya (Sal) and her last remaining brother Bill Barton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Andrew Lenoir, Brian Lenoir Jr., Hunter Castro, Richard Lenoir, Serenity Cordova, Destiny Lenoir, Patrick Lenoir, Timothy Lenoir, Thomas Lenoir and great-granddaughter Hazel Lopez Lenoir and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her siblings James Barton, Jack Barton, Jackie Nelson. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bui in Gilroy and Hazel Hawkins Hospital including the Emergency Department. A special thanks to her niece Penny Taber-Walker for her undying help and care for not only Linda but also her husband Tim. May she rest in peace and her kindness be an example to all. Even though she is gone she will always be remembered for her good works.
