A great guy and a good friend, "Perky" was a Clamper buddy before I came to work for the County in 1983. On my first day on the job, the front desk took a call asking for "Coyote Collins," which confused and ultimately delighted my new staff members who instantly had learned my Clamper nickname. He was absolutely devoted to his work, to his family, to his music and to having fun, and I'll miss him. My condolences to his family.

I met a lot of folks when I worked for the county in the late 70’s and Roland, without a doubt, was the funniest. I always enjoyed interacting with him. Rest In Peace “perky ponds”. My condolences to the family.

My uncle Roland was a very special man. He and my aunt Marcia always took us on short trips to Bottomless Lakes, White Sands, etc. when we were kids. He'd cook hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill which was a treat for us poor siblings. Roland taught me how to play checkers and chess and helped me plan a trip to California when I was 21. In other words, he was always there for me and the only father figure in my life. In fact, I always wished that Roland was my father. When Roland, Marcia and Robin moved to California, I was sad that I wouldn't see them very often. I did visit them several times through the years and talked to them on the phone monthly. Words cannot express the grief I have felt since I heard the news. God bless Marcia and Roland and rest in peace. Bless Robin for being such a good daughter and cousin to me!

Roland was one great uncle. When we were kids he and Marcia came to our house often. They brought such happiness as a happily married couple. He had a fantastic supply of pipes and I loved the different aromas. He was funny and witty but also discussed serious matters with me like the history of slavery and the terrorist KKK. He taught me about music and how to play chess. We built models galore and cool stuff with an erector set. He was there when my dad couldn't be there. Rest in Blessed Peace Roland. I will always miss you and remember you. Thank you, Frank

So very sorry for your loss Robin! Your dad was such a great guy! He was sooo very proud of you❤️ He would come into Richard Gularte’s real estate office where I worked for years, and after doing his business, he would always sit and chat with me. Not only were we neighbors, I considered him a friend may he Rest In Peace and be in heaven with his bride Marcia❤️NFy5p
