Joan was such a sweet and kind person. I had the pleasure of working with her when she was at Hazel Hawkins Hospital.
I have no doubt that she is in her Heavenly Father's Kingdom suffering no more.

My favorite memory of great Aunt Joan is when we went bird watching with Grandma Mary. I made a joke about Canadian Geese and they must have laughed for 5 miles. I tell that story often.
The God of all comfort, and our happy memories, soothes the pain of our loss.

My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to Joan's family at this time. May the God she loved bring you peace.
I first me Joan at Willow Grove School in Paicines. Her mom, Mrs. Waters, was my school teacher there for several years. I remember that in spite of the seizures, Joan seemed to be an outgoing, happy child. I had lost touch with her after elementary school but had reconnected with her last year on face book. During this last year she and I exchanged posts and comments. She often expressed her love of and faith in the Lord. It made my heart sad to read of her sudden passing.
